In order to better meet the fast development cycles required by a strong international presence, the KUHN and RAUCH companies have decided to reinforce their partnership.
BUCHER INDUSTRIES, KUHN’s parent company, is acquiring a minority interest in RAUCH Landmaschinenfabrik GmbH. The acquisition of this minority interest is still subject to the approval of the German competition authorities.
This is a new step in the successful partnership between the KUHN and RAUCH companies that began several years ago.
This cooperation started with the sale and distribution of fertilizer spreaders, developed and manufactured by RAUCH, in France and on other export markets. Today, RAUCH and KUHN also cooperate in the important field of pneumatic seed drills.
The organization and management as well as the distribution networks of both companies will remain unchanged.
KUHN’s distribution network, established on the five continents, is a solid base for an efficient future marketing of the product range.
Operating profitably even in the year of recession, the RAUCH Landmaschinenfabrik company generated sales of 41.8 Mio EUR for the 2009/2010 financial year (ending on 31st July 2010). With a workforce of 300 employees, RAUCH has grouped its production facilities previously located on various sites, in a new state-of-the-art plant at Baden Airpark in September 2009.
KUHN Group is a leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery specialized in the fields of grass harvesting, bedding and feeding and tillage, with manufacturing facilities located in France, the Netherlands, the United States and Brazil. Kuhn generated net sales of 630 million Euros in 2009 with a workforce of 3150 employees throughout the world.
