STRIGER: The future in the row! |
The Striger is a soil preparation tool to prepare only the future seeding line. After tilling, maize, sugarbeet, sunflower or rape can be seeded. Tilling takes place before seeding to allow the soil to warm up, avoid bringing fresh soil to the surface and to create a seedbed favourable to good germination. Tilling separately from seeding extends the working time periods for greater flexibility in the fields. Seeding takes place using a conventional seed drill such as the Maxima 2 or Planter 3. The tilled area is reduced by 80%, leading to savings in soil preparation. |
